Latter Rain Promised Part2

THE LATTER RAIN PROMISED PART 2 THE SIGNIFICANCE OF DANIEL11:40-45.

THE REMNANT
The Bible shows in Revelation 12:17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ  .  Also we read about a certain people in Revelation 14:12 Here is the patience of the saints: here [are] they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

Then we get what comprise the Testimony of Jesus in Revelation 19:10 And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See [thou do it] not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Now note carefully that these individuals that keep the commandment of God and have (possess, internalized, characterized by) the Spirit of prophecy are refer to as “SAINTS”.

This word “SAINTS” in the Greek is “hagios” pronounced hag’-ee-os from the word “hagnos” which means: sacred, pure, morally blameless, ceremonially consecrated, holy one(s).

Now if we match these definitions above with those in Revelation 7 and Revelation 14 we will see a striking resemblance of character, it says in Revelation 7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
7:2And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
7:3Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
7:4And I heard the number of them which were sealed: [and there were] sealed an hundred [and] forty [and] four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
Scripture further elaborate on the same numbered individuals; it says in Revelation 14:1 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty [and] four thousand, having his Father's name written in their foreheads.
14:4These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, [being] the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.
14:5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Let us consolidate these understanding in the scripture above.

THE REMNANT

• They keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ (Rev12:17).
• Along with the commandments, their lifestyle is characterized or shaped if you please by the Spirit of Prophecy this is summed up in one word in quotes they “HAVE” The Spirit of Prophecy (Rev19:10),
• God in His mercy held or is holding the “Winds of Strife” So that these ;the REMNANT could be “SEALED in the FOREHEAD”.
• The FOREHEAD is where Decisions are made,  a mans character is represented in the choices he make by the min.
• To be sealed means to be SETTLED INTO TRUTH, Immovable.
• The FATHER’S name ( His Character) is written in the forehead.
• They are not influenced in any way by the Doctrine of Fallen churches, they are virgins Revelation14.4
• In other words they follow the lamb point by point on the path of the Just ,see Prov 4:19 and Ellen white's first vision, Early Writings page 14.
• They are FIRST-FRUITS  they possess all the qualities of the vine Christ they are pronounced in heaven as harvest ready , they receive the message of reformation and are revive first. Then they spread the message representing the fourth angel.
They have no Guile (bitter words or feelings, not offended by wickedness against them) and no faults ,the work of perfection, the gospel, Christ in you the hope of glory has become a reality in the lives of this group.

I said all that to make this simple point. One cannot experience this sealing or settling into truth or having this Christ-like Character except he or she receives a message.

For the Bible shows us clearly that in Romans 10:13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
10:14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
10:15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
10:16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

THE REFORM MESSAGES OF ANCIENT TIMES ARE IDENTICAL TO THAT OF THE END OF DAYS

As the scripture above shows, one hears, one preaches,is sent with what ?

 A MESSAGE

Those who obey and turn from the Laodicean state will do so based on a MESSAGE.
It is true that many messages will have an effect on Gods people, many of the reforms will come about because of messages. BUT IT IS ONE PRIMARY MESSAGE that stirs the hearts to receive messages of reform.
What was the primary messages in Christ day?  it was Christ the Messiah The Son ,the Begotten of the Father is here. BELIEVE ON HIM ! Thus  Daniel 9:24  became PRESENT TRUTH, it says:
Daniel 9:24
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

What was the primary message in the millerite time? Daniel 8:14, unto two thousand three hundred days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed. It was a message of the beginning of judgement  "Fear God and give glory to Him for the hour of judgment is come" the same was required as in Christ day, "to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness in the life individually. At that time Daniel 8:14,Matthew 25 wise and foolish virgins, Malachi 3 the sudden coming of The Lord to his temple all became PRESENT TRUTH. Ellen white says all these are the same event in the book Great controversy pages 426.1and {Faith I Live By 207.4} also in Maranatha 248.

What is the message here in our day ;the end of the world?

It's based on a prophecy as the reform movements before. It's the  message of the coming King of the north the rise of the Papacy ,the events marking the healing of the deadly wound , the enforcement of worldwide decree, the time of trouble that follows, the great slaughter all found in the last six verses of the book of Daniel that is Daniel 11:40-45. The seventh verse is Daniel 12:1 which shows at that time shall Michael stand up.

In the previous article we established the following using Bible and Spirit of prophecy.
• The latter rain is promised.  “We have a more sure word of prophecy “ 2Peter 1:19.
• A people would be prepared to stand. Immovable and sealed.
• That preparation is initiated by revival and a reformation via the agency of the Holy Spirit.
• Ezekiel 37 dry bones illustrate the revival and reformation in symbols.
• An army would rise up united in “understanding of the times and what Israel ought to do” 1Chronicles 12:32.
• These will receive the Laodicean message favorably and wakeup Rev3:14-22.Isa52:1
• Those who escape Laodicea will experience true revival and reformation. A resurrection from the spiritual death. They will experience a change in ideas and theories, habits and practices.

A second testimony of these points above could be.

THE HISTORY OF THE 10 VIRGINS IN MATTHEW25 PORTRAYS THE BIBLICAL PRECEPT OF TWO CLASSES.

“Then shall the kingdom of Heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom. And five of them were wise, and five were foolish. They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them; but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept. And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom cometh; go ye out to meet him.”
      The coming of Christ, as announced by the first angel’s message, was understood to be represented by the coming of the bridegroom. The widespread reformation under the proclamation of his soon coming, answered to the going forth of the virgins. In this parable, as in that of Matthew 24, two classes are represented. All had taken their lamps, the Bible, and by its light had gone forth to meet the Bridegroom. But while “they that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them,” “the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.” The latter class had received the grace of God, the regenerating, enlightening power of the Holy Spirit, which renders his Word a lamp to the feet and a light to the path. In the fear of God they had studied the Scriptures to learn the truth, and had earnestly sought for purity of heart and life. These had a personal experience, a faith in God and in his Word, which could not be overthrown by disappointment and delay. Others “took their lamps, and took no oil with them.” They had moved from impulse. Their fears had been excited by the solemn message, but they had depended upon the faith of their brethren, satisfied with the flickering light of good emotions, without a thorough understanding of the truth, or a genuine work of grace in the heart. These had gone forth to meet the Lord, full of hope in the prospect of immediate reward; but they were not prepared for delay and disappointment. When trials came, their faith failed, and their lights burned dim. {GC88393.3}

THE SPIRIT DIRECTS GOD'S PEOPLE TO TRUTH NOT ONLY THIS BUT ON TIME.
John 16:13
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:and he will shew you THINGS TO COME.
John 15:26
26 But when the Comforter is come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:

WHAT IS IT TO REJECT THE HOLY SPIRIT THE DELIVERER OF TRUTH?

 What constitutes the sin against the Holy Ghost? It is willfully attributing to Satan the work of the Holy Spirit. For example, suppose that one is a witness of the special work of the Spirit of God. He has convincing evidence that the work is in harmony with the Scriptures, and the Spirit witnesses with his spirit that it is of God. Afterward, however, he falls under temptation; pride, self-sufficiency, or some other evil trait, controls him; and rejecting all the evidence of its divine character, he declares that that which he had before acknowledged to be the power of the Holy Spirit was the power of Satan. It is through the medium of His Spirit that God works upon the human heart; and when men willfully reject the Spirit and declare it to be from Satan, they cut off the channel by which God can communicate with them. By denying the evidence which God has been pleased to give them, they shut out the light which had been shining in their hearts, and as the result they are left in darkness. Thus the words of Christ are verified: “If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!” For a time, persons who have committed this sin may appear to be children of God; but when circumstances arise to develop character and show what manner of spirit they are of, it will be found that they are on the enemy’s ground, standing under his black banner. – {5T 634.1}
